Rock on!

It’s that time again. The Foundation Gardens are beautiful and it’s time for the beginning of another season of the Downtown Performance Series! Today for the opening week, PANgea, an LPS Steel Drum band performed to a large crowd.

This little guy caught my eye. He was pumping out some mad beats on a green leaf. Rock on little buddy!

Much better than the shenanigans his fellow daycare-mates were getting into.

But soon, he taught them his mad skills and they were all rockin’ out. This kid’s going to be a legend.

What a rock star. Favorite quote of the afternoon: “But we want to DANCE!” Dance on, little friends! Dance on!

But be sure to pause for mom to wipe that chocolate cupcake off your face.

Then these guys showed up. But not for me…phew!

The Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics joined us at the end of the performance on their way through Nebraska. Way to go guys!
